This magazine was created for the Editorial Design module at Winchester School of Arts, the brief was to create a 16 pages science magazine about CERN with an given text and photos.
The concept created for this magazine was to focus on a negative/positive contrast of black and white with a hint of colour that would appear strategically at some pages of the magazine. A lot of blank space was created to communicate the emptiness and the knowledge still unknown about the particles and how they create a space for discovery and the new for scientist.
Shapes and movement of the photographs were also translated in the typography, that sometimes would be big or small, depending on the subject, expressing it graphically as well.
